My name is Debra E. W. Bell, I call myself a catalyst. At early age I have always helped those in need. Sometimes to my own detriment. My company is called Evolution of Self. I was born here in Rochester, NY. For a few years, I had the experience to live in Los Angeles, CA.
My educational foundation started with James Madison High School, Monroe Community College and then to Empire State University (SUNY). Notable achievements, graduating at 17 years of age, first one, in my family to attend college, the journey was arduous, my tenacity made sure I got it done. My Masters took me 10 years to complete. Having someone state I wasn’t college material fueled the fire to complete it. Being able to design it, I created it in Motivation and Education, which was designed to help individuals to read.
My love of empowering individuals has led me to the type of work that I do. I have over 30+ years of experience in the Job Readiness field. Along with those skills, I am a Parent Educator, a Family Development Credentialing Instructor, a Minister, a NYS Security Guard, and a Notary. I am an Alumni of AKOMA- the African American Women’s Gospel group. There are future goals I have aspired to secure under my belt. My hobbies consist of writing poetry and traveling. I feel that this salad of life experiences has afforded me the ability to view through various lenses to help those in need.
